Russian unmanned aerial vehicles continue to violate Ukraine's airspace, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has reported.

"The Russian armed forces continue conducting active aerial reconnaissance and violating Ukraine's airspace. The activity of two unmanned aerial vehicles was recorded yesterday - one near Mariupol and another on the administrative border of temporarily occupied Crimea," NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

In addition, he said, "Russians are conducting demonstrative flights of military helicopters along the Ukrainian-Russian border in Luhansk region," but they did not enter Ukraine's airspace.

NSDC also said that clashes and shelling in the border areas controlled by Ukrainian military had not been recorded.

"Armed clashes and shelling of positions in the areas of the state border controlled by Ukrainian military were not recorded," Lysenko said.
