The situation on the security post located in Luhansk region near Bakhmutka (Luhansk-Artemivsk motorway) as of 1215 p.m. is uneasy, but it is possible to control it, especially because the leadership of anti-terrorist operation provides support to the troops, the ATO press center said.

"A personal staff of the units, which is now on the mentioned object, organized protection and defense, is provided with the hard-kill devices and armored vehicles. Staff of the security post and ATO headquarters leadership are in a constant contact," the report said on Facebook.

As earlier reported, head of Luhansk regional state administration Hennadiy Moskal reported that Ukrainian soldiers and terrorists were continuously fighting near Bakhmutka highway (Luhansk region). At 0200 a.m. the militants shelled and then encircled around 31st and 32nd security posts of the National Guard near Bakhmutka.

Today there is no reliable information about the situation near Bakhmutka so far, just that 112 military of Ukrainian army and National Guard now are surrounded. A number of wounded and shell-shocked servicemen were taken prisoners, one of them is battalion commander, Moskal said.

He said that all attempts of OSCE representatives to deal on ceasefire with the leadership of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic were in vain. The militants of the so-called Don Army do not listen to LNR.
