Militants preparing provocation to disrupt ceasefire in Donbas – Information Resistance

1 min read

Russian-led militants are preparing armed provocations to disrupt the ceasefire regime in the Donbas, which was declared as part of the signing of the Minsk protocol, the Information Resistance group has reported.

"In particular, according to our data, the terrorists are planning to shell Donetsk using Grad multiple rocket launchers and pin the blame on Ukrainian troops for it. The movement of two BM-21 Grad launchers, which could be used as part of this plan, was currently recorded near Olenivka," group leader Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on his page on Facebook on Thursday.

He noted that Ukrainian troops had observed the truce since the declaration of the ceasefire, only returning fire if their positions are attacked.

"At the same time, Ukrainian units use only small arms. Artillery (including reactive artillery) and aircraft are not being used," Tymchuk said.
