OSCE's Ischinger calls on Ukrainians to use words, not weapons

The Special Representative of the OSCE, Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, has urged Ukrainians to seek compromise on problematic issues through peaceful means.

Speaking during the second round table meeting of national unity in Kharkiv he addressed all residents of Ukraine on behalf of the OSCE urging them to be ready to compromise exclusively through peaceful means. He called on Ukrainians to use words, not weapons.

He noted that the roundtable involved many representatives who would be able to discuss the problematic issues in the state. Ischinger assessed the results of the past several days of interaction as a very close cooperation, which involved many people.

"Of course, we will not be able to discuss all the issues, but those discussions that we had in Kyiv and which we will have at today's and at the next meeting, will allow all parties of the process to develop rapport and a common vision for solving our problems," the ambassador said.
