Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk will visit the European Commission on May 13, EC spokesperson Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen has said.

"We are committed to assist Ukraine both in the short and long term in carrying out political and economic reforms that are necessary for a democratic and independent Ukraine," she said.

Hansen said that the agenda of the forthcoming visit being specified.
