Pro-Russian activists have taken over the building of the prosecutor's office in Luhansk region and began to build barricades near the seized building of the regional administration.

Some 700 pro-Russian activists seized the building of Luhansk regional prosecutor's office. They used stones to smash the windows, knocked out the doors and ten minutes later went inside, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

After that they removed the state flag of Ukraine and burned it.

The protesters met no resistance, as there were no law enforcers on the site, and employees of the prosecutor's office left the building before the seizure started.
