Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Volodymyr Bondarenko has confirmed that Kyiv is ready to receive up to 10,000 refugees from Crimea, the administration's press service reported on Monday.

He also expressed his readiness to take care of the family of the commander of the 204th tactical aviation brigade of the military unit in Belbek, Yuliy Mamchur, who was kidnapped by Russian military.

"Realizing the danger looming over the family of Yuliy Mamchur I simultaneously appeal to the Interior Ministry, the Defense Ministry, the Security Service of Ukraine and other competent authorities to immediately help this family leave the occupied Crimea," Bondarenko said.

The commander of the 204th tactical aviation brigade of the military unit in Belbek, Colonel Mamchur, was kidnapped by Russian servicemen during an assault on the aviation unit in Belbek on March 22.
