Viktor Yanukovych believes military actions in Ukraine would be unacceptable and is not planning to ask for military aid from Russia.

"I believe any military actions in this situation are unacceptable. Any. I am not going to ask for military support," Yanukovych said at a press conference in Rostov-on-Don on Friday.

He added that Ukraine should remain united. "I believe Ukraine should remain united and undivided," he said.
