Ukraine's interim president endorses Makhnitsky's appointment as acting prosecutor general
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has signed a decree appointing Oleh Makhnitsky as acting prosecutor general of Ukraine.
The corresponding decree was signed on Monday and published on the official Web site of the Head of State on Tuesday.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on February 24 gave its consent to the appointment of MP Oleh Makhnitsky to the post of acting prosecutor general of Ukraine.
The decree comes into force on the day of its adoption.
