Lviv Regional Council has passed a vote of no-confidence in Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Oleh Salo after a report on the implementation by the regional administration of the powers delegated by the regional council last year.

A total of 72 deputies voted for the draft decision, three voted against it, and four abstained. A total of 79 deputies participated in the vote.

Salo himself did not attend the session, as he left on a business trip to Kyiv, to the Cabinet of Ministers. Instead, the report instead of him was presented by the first deputy head of the regional administration, Oleksiy Storchylo.

Deputies also declared unsatisfactory the work of Lviv Regional State Administration in the implementation of the delegated powers for 2013.

On November 12 last year, Lviv Regional Council also passed a vote of no-confidence in Salo and 72 deputies supported that decision. The decision was appealed against by the prosecutor's office.
