One of the people killed in the clashes between anti-government protesters and police in central Kyiv is a citizen of Belarus, the Belarusian service of Radio Liberty has reported.

"One of those killed today in Kyiv is Belarusian citizen Mikhail Mikhailovich Zhiznevsky," the radio reported, with reference to the National Resistance Headquarters in Kyiv.

The Embassy of Belarus in Kyiv is not commenting on this issue, Radio Liberty said.
