People injured in the Volgograd bombings are being provided with comprehensive medical care, Russian deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said following a crisis center meeting in Volgograd.

"The work is proceeding accurately and smoothly, however five people injured are still in very serious condition," the regional government quoted Golodets as saying in a statement.

"The list of people injured, who will be sent to Moscow to complete their treatment, has been composed," Golodets said.

All medical staff in hospitals have been provided with the specialists needed, the deputy prime minister said. Experts of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency are working in Volgograd. Employees of the Russian Healthcare Ministry have all medicine, consumables and equipment needed, Golodets said.
