Zinaida Likhachova, the wife of Ukrainian presidential chief of staff Serhiy Liovochkin, supports the pro-European activists and believes that "the authorities will face blockade and rejection at all levels" for the forcible dispersal of the demonstration on the Independence Square in Kyiv early on Saturday.

"Every thinking person feeling himself Ukrainian cannot fail to react when this happens in the country. I am an artist with a civic position. This position is reflected both in the fact that I came to the Independence Square in Kyiv to support Euro-integration and in my works," Likhachova wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

She said she was sure that, following "the brutal breakup" of the rally on the Independence Square, "the authorities will face blockade and rejection at all levels!"

Likhachova appeared on the Independence Square in Kyiv on Friday to support the rally and then posted her pictures from there on Facebook.
