Party of Regions MP Tsariov accuses US Embassy in Ukraine of training revolutionaries for street protests

Party of Regions MP Oleh Tsariov has demanded that law enforcement agencies find out whether representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine have violated the United Nations Declaration on the Inadmissibility of Intervention and Interference in the Internal Affairs of States.

Hesaid this at a morning plenary meeting of parliament on Wednesday.

Tsariov said that "the TechCamp project is being implemented with the support and participation of the U.S. Embassy" in Ukraine, "as part of which preparations for inciting a civil war are underway."

He said that the main objective of the project is to train information war experts and potential revolutionaries to organize protests and overthrow the regime.

Tsariov noted that "the project is under the patronage of Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt."

He said that over 300 people from all over Ukraine had undergone training. Last training session, according to Tsariov, was conducted at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine on November 14-15.

He said that during training sessions instructors share their experience of Internet technologies, which are aimed at shaping public opinion and enhancing the protest potential and which were used to organize street protests in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Syria.
