Yevhenia Tymoshenko, the daughter of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, has arrived at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv for a long visit with her mother.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that she entered the territory of the hospital at 1150.

Tymoshenko refused to confirm or deny reports whether she plans to persuade her mother to agree to treatment in Germany.

"I'm not going to comment on that. Those are provocations and rumors," she said.

She also refused to say whether the Ukrainian authorities had responded in any way to her request to permit Tymoshenko to undergo surgery by German doctors from the Charite Hospital.

The visit will last for three days. Tymoshenko last had such a long visit with her mother in early April 2013.

Earlier media reports said that Tymoshenko would allegedly be admitted to the Berlin-based Charite Hospital on September 15.

Tymoshenko announced on July 1, citing Charite doctors, that Tymoshenko was in need of an urgent operation.
