A meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation will take place in late September or early October, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

"We have agreed to hold a meeting of the intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation sometime in late September or early October," he told reporters in Sochi, Russia, on Friday after the completion of the Ukrainian-Russian negotiations.

Azarov noted that the relevant agencies would prepare draft decisions on the results of the meeting.
