The State Agency for Investment and National Projects Management of Ukraine attracted in 2011-2012 about UAH 9 billion of investment, including UAH 6.519 billion raised directly for national projects and UAH 2.7 billion raised in the framework of the InvestUkraine service, the head of the agency, Vladyslav Kaskiv, has said.

"Our overseas presentations in the frames of the presentation of national projects abroad (so called road shows) account for the lion's share of the result. During the presentations, actual documents were signed to the tune of UAH 3.816 billion," the agency's press service quoted Kaskiv as saying.

According to him, the amount of attracted investments is several times higher than the funds spent on presentation of the projects abroad. However, he added that this year they planned to spend half as much on the presentation as in 2012 due to changing priorities and engaging the Agency of Private Partners.

"Ten national projects have signed actual contracts and part of the funds has already been invested in Ukraine," Kaskiv said.
