MPs have left the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, according to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter.

Early on Friday, members of the Batkivschyna faction blocked the parliament's rostrum and presidium, preventing the opening of the morning meeting.

Party of Regions MPs, who took their seats in the session hall, left the building after 1000, saying that the parliament will not work on Friday. Opposition deputies also left the session hall later.
