Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara will visit France and Spain on June 4-6 this year, Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis has said.

"On June 4-6 this year, Ukrainian Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Leonid Kozhara will make a working visit to France and the Kingdom of Spain," he said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

He said that during these visits, Kozhara would hold talks with the foreign ministers of these countries and also meet with representatives of their parliamentary, political and business communities.

"The main goal of the Ukrainian foreign minister's talks in Paris and Madrid will be the development of bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation between the countries within international organizations. Particular attention is to be paid to discussing the issue of the European integration of Ukraine, including the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU," Perebyinis said.

He added that these visits by the foreign minister would be the continuation of the dialogue with the leadership of the EU and its member states to ensure support to the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
