The Ukrainian parliament will consider a resolution on no-confidence in Premier Mykola Azarov's government on Friday, April 19, Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Rybak said.

"We are to address the issue of the responsibility of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers initiated by the opposition after an hour of questions for the government on Friday," Rybak said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the head of the factions and committees of the Ukrainian parliament in Kyiv on Monday.

As reported, on February 27, 2013, the parliamentary opposition started collecting signatures for a resolution on no-confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to consider the issue at a parliamentary sitting as soon as possible.

On March 21, the leader of the Batkivschyna parliamentary faction, Arseniy Yatseniuk, said that a total of 174 lawmakers put their signatures to this resolution.

On April 3, Rybak ordered all the parliamentary committees to consider the document.

Later that day, the Batkivschyna party reported that the parliament's budget committee, legal policy committee and the committee on the fight against organized crimes and corruption had backed the resolution.
