The cyclone that caused severe weather conditions in Ukraine over the last few days has left the country, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul has said, citing figures from the Ukrainian Hydro-Meteorological Center.

"Today we can say that the cyclone has left Ukrainian territory and that heavy precipitation is no longer expected," the vice premier's press service quoted him as saying at a meeting on overcoming the consequences of heavy snowfalls on March 22-23.

According to the Ukrainian Hydro-Meteorological Center, on March 26-27, moderate wet snow and rain are expected in Ukraine's southern and southwestern regions, and rain is expected in Crimea.
