Ukraine is actively implementing a plan of priority measures for European integration that was earlier approved by the government, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said.

"This plan includes 71 measures, and six measures have already been fulfilled," Acting Director of the Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing on Wednesday.

He said that in addition to the six measures that have already been fulfilled, there are still a number of measures that have yet to be fulfilled.

In particular, according to the Foreign Ministry, the points concerning the signing of the agreement with the EU on the receipt of macro-financial assistance, a number of bills in the area of financial control, the reform of the Criminal Executive Service, in the area of customs tariffs and the use of EU funds are considered to be fulfilled.

"I think that it's possible to make a clear conclusion from what I informed you that the work on the implementation of this plan is being conducted in all areas," Perebyinis said, adding that it is a priority for the government and that the implementation of the plan is designed to last one year.
