Opposition's draft documents on European integration raw to be included on agenda, says Regions Party

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration has decided at a meeting that the parliamentary opposition's draft resolutions on European integration was raw and they could not be included on the parliament's agenda on Thursday, January 10, the committee's member, Regions Party parliamentary faction MP Mykola Dmytruk has said.

"These draft resolutions were raw. They could not be taken for discussion," the politician said.

"We came to a compromise that the authors of these resolutions have to develop a common solution. If we reach a consensus, the committee could meet tomorrow morning and discuss the issue," Dmytruk said.

The MP stressed that the Committee on European Integration, headed by Batkivschyna parliamentary faction MP Hryhoriy Nemyria, agreed that the draft resolutions on European integration still need to be improved in order to make a negotiated decision, ready for consideration in the parliament.
