WizzAir to launch Kyiv-Vienna flight from Oct 28

Hungary's low cost airline WizzAir will launch regular flights from Kyiv to Vienna (Austria) from October 28, 2018, the press service of the Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport (Zhuliany) reported on Friday.

"Daily direct flight Vienna-Kyiv-Vienna will be serviced by planes of Airbus A320 type," the airport said.

The fare starts from UAH 909 for a one-way ticket. The fares in the booking system the time of departure varies from 09:00 to 17.45 from Kyiv, and from 10:40 to 19.10 from Vienna. The tickets for the flights are available until late October 2019.

As reported, the destination map of flights of Hungary's low cost airline Wizz Air from Kyiv in August was expanded by three new destinations – to Bremen (Germany), Riga (Latvia) and Billund (Denmark) where the Legoland center is located, as well as flights from Kyiv to Copenhagen (Denmark) and Frankfurt-Hahn (Germany).

Wizz Air is the largest low cost airline in the Central and Eastern Europe. It offers flights from 142 airports in 44 countries. Its fleet consists of 100 Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 planes at 25 bases in 14 countries.
