IMF states no time defined for mission arrival in Kyiv

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has not defined any time framework with respect to the arrival of the mission to Ukraine within the fourth revision of the EFF program, IMF Spokesperson William Murray has said.

"I have no information on the timing of the mission arrival. The time has not yet been determined," he said during a traditional briefing in Washington.

As reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in an interview with Bloomberg in Davos expressed hope that the roughly by April the IMF mission would visit Kyiv and afterwards Ukraine would obtain the next tranche from the IMF.

Head of the Ukrainian National Bank Council Bohdan Danylyshyn, in turn, said that the IMF mission could come to Kyiv in mid-February.
