Government withdraws 13 state agencies from moratorium on business checks

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to withdraw 13 state agencies from the effect of a moratorium on business checks.

"We propose removing 13 bodies from the effect of the moratorium, in particular, the veterinary control bodies of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the State Nuclear Regulation Inspectorate of Ukraine. Individual standards will also be introduced in the moratorium, and compliance with them will allow a body to get out of the effect of the moratorium, or vice versa," First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maksym Nefyodov said at a government meeting on Monday, December 18.

He noted that "now the government decides which body is ready to go out for checks, and the State Regulatory Service here is the main counteragent of each inspectorate as to whether it is ready to checks under new regulations."
