The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the updated version of the national list of essential medicines, expanding it to 427 international nonproprietary names (INN).

The decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday.

The list includes 60 INN, including 18 INN from the 20th edition of the WHO model list of essential medicines, 14 INN for provision of emergency medical treatment and 28 INN included in the state-funded programs and subventions for volatile anesthetic agents.
