Poroshenko suggests increasing minimum salary up to UAH 4,100

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko considers it real to raise the minimum wage in Ukraine to UAH 4,100.

"Based on the results of improving the investment climate and budget revenues, we will be able to analyze the results of half a year or three quarters and take a decision to raise the minimum wage to UAH 4,100," Poroshenko said at the second All-Ukrainian Forum of Merged Communities in Kyiv on Monday.

The minimum wage in Ukraine is UAH 3,200 since January 1, 2017.

The rate of the NBU is currently UAH 27.05 per U.S. dollar.

The minimum subsistence level for able-bodied people has been raised to UAH 1,762 since December 1, 2017.
