Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to receive UAH 251.527 million in revenue and UAH 35.122 billion of net profit in 2018, a source in the government has told Interfax-Ukraine, with reference to the draft financial plan of Naftogaz submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers.

At the same time, according to its data, the planned amount of income includes about UAH 45 billion, which should come in the form of subventions in the framework of government resolution No. 20, but this decision loses force from January 1.

"Doubts are also caused by the income from gas sales for the industrial and technological needs of Ukrtransgaz in the amount of UAH 2.4 billion, given that Ukrtransgaz purchases services in a competitive market through ProZorro," the source said.

According to him, the draft financial plan of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy foresees imports of 8.94 billion cubic meters of gas in 2018 at the average weighted price of $271.58 per 1,000 cubic meters. Of this volume, 3.8 billion cubic meters will be imported for the needs of the population and heating companies.

According to the forecasts of Naftogaz, stipulated in the document, the company in 2018 will also buy 14.6 billion cubic meters of domestic gas, of which 13.75 billion cubic meters will be used for the needs of the population and heating companies.
