The surplus of the national budget of Ukraine in January-October 2017 amounted to UAH 1.4 billion due to the surplus for the special fund of UAH 27.7 billion because of special confiscation in the amount of about UAH 30 billion in April this year, the State Treasury has stated.

According to its data, the deficit of the general fund of the budget in the ten months of this year amounted to UAH 26.3 billion.

In October the national budget posted a deficit of UAH 13.6 billion, including UAH 12.6 billion in the general fund, which is UAH 23.47 billion and UAH 22.8 billion respectively less than the September figures.

The State Treasury said the projected deficit for 2017 is UAH 80.89 billion, including UAH 62.33 billion for the general fund.
