Ukrtransgaz on September 27 signed contracts with Naftogaz Ukrainy for the delivery of 1.26 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas for industrial and technological needs for a total of UAH 6.687 billion (excluding VAT).

According to data in the ProZorro system, in particular, the companies signed six contracts on six lots (210 million cubic meters in each) with the delivery date in October 2017-April 2018.

In particular, four contracts were signed for UAH 1.340 billion, another two for UAH 1.326 billion and UAH 1.314 billion.

The price of gas for delivery in November-April is tied to quotations on the German gas hub NetConnect Germany (NCG) and fluctuations in the official hryvnia to U.S. dollar exchange rate.

In addition, Ukrtransgaz announced its intention to sign a contract with Naftogaz for the supply of another 360 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas for industrial and technological needs in September-October 2017 under the negotiation procedure due to the delay in holding two more previously announced tenders. The value of the contract announced for signing will be UAH 2.939 billion (including VAT).
