Croatia to help rehabilitate people affected by ATO in Donbas

During Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin's participation in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, the minister met with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejcinovic Buric, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service said on Monday evening.

"The interlocutors discussed a number of issues on the agenda, in particular, the planned visit of the Croatian president to Ukraine, security in the region, initiatives within international organizations, as well as rehabilitation of people affected by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO)," the report reads.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also confirmed that Croatia will provide assistance in the rehabilitation of the people affected by the ATO.

In addition, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added that one of the main topics of discussion was the issue of expanding cooperation in the energy sector: "In this context, the parties agreed to discuss this matter in more detail during the visit of Minister Klimkin to Zagreb in the near future."
