PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine in the 2016/2017 marketing year (MY, July-June) increased grain exports to the Chinese company CCEC by 11% compared to the previous season, to 702,000 tonnes.

"Due to the significant strengthening of cooperation between the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine and CCEC in the 2016/2017 marketing year, we managed to reach an agreement on the delivery of 720,000 tonnes of grain to the Chinese corporation, of which almost 702,000 tonnes were shipped, which is 11% more than in the previous season, when in general slightly more than 633,000 tonnes were exported to CCEC," first deputy chairman of the corporation Vitaliy Shulezhko said.

In addition, to expand trade between the corporation and its Chinese partner, the parties for the first time delivered grain from CCEC to other countries. In particular, out of the total 702,000 tonnes of grain shipped to CCEC, 432,000 tonnes were exported to China, while 270,000 tonnes were shipped to Portugal, the Netherlands, Italy, Egypt, and Tunisia.
