Prosecutors illegally transfer 1,000 arrested wagons to Ukrzaliznytsia

The main military prosecutor's office of Ukraine has no legal grounds for transferring 1,000 high-sided wagons, belonging to Unison Group LLC, to PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia, because the court ruling prohibits the use of the arrested property, but contains no information on their transfer for storage or management to third parties, Unison Group shareholders have stated.

"In his statement [on the transfer of the wagons] Mr. [Anatoliy] Matios refers to the decision of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv. However, neither the shareholders nor the lawyers of Unison Group were informed about the time and place of such a court session, at which the transfer of wagons owned by Unison Groups to PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia was discussed. The shareholders of Unison Group were also not sent the text of such a decision, it was also not presented at a joint briefing of Matios and Wojciech Balczun," reads a statement by the company's shareholders.

At the same time, it is stressed that in connection with this the shareholders of Unison Group are not aware of the legal motives used by Ukrzaliznytsia Chairman Wojciech Balczun at the time of accepting assets that legally belong to another business entity.
