Kyiv expects Norway may begin gas supply to Ukraine starting 2022
Ukraine may begin receiving gas directly from Norway starting from 2022, Ukrainian energy and coal industry minister's advisor Maksym Beliavsky said, citing the signing of a memorandum on cooperation between Poland and Denmark seeking to ensure direct gas supplies from Norway.
"Direct gas flow from Norway to Ukraine is a reality starting from 2022.We are yet to build an interconnector between Ukraine and Poland: the purchase of pipes is due to begin in autumn," Beliavsky said on his Facebook page on Sunday, posting a scan-copy of the text of the memorandum.
