Ending stocks on currency accounts of Ukraine's State Treasury shrink by 5.6% in 2016
Ending stocks on the currency accounts of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine as of January 1, 2016 decreased by 5.6%, and as of early 2017 they reached UAH 33.4 billion (around $1.2 billion), the State Treasury Service has reported.
Total assets of the authority over the period grew by 0.9%, to UAH 104.7 billion.
Ending stocks on the single treasury account grew by 58.9%, to UAH 14.3 billion, debt on Pension Fund's loans decreased by 4.8%, to UAH 48 billion, and debt on local budgets' loans did not change, being UAH 9 billion, including UAH 3.7 billion of Kyiv City's loans.
In the authority's liabilities ending stocks of local budgets grew by 33.5%, to UAH 49.4 billion, ending national budget stocks fell by 34.4%, to UAH 31.8 billion, funds of off-budget funds grew by 13.5%, to UAH 4.2 billion and other funds of clients grew by 32.2%, to UAH 19.3 billion.
The State Treasury Service said that last year UAH 162.5 billion was sent to accounts opened in the VAT e-administration system, and UAH 146.2 billion was sent to the national budget.
As of January 1, 2017, ending stocks on the accounts in the VAT e-administration system were UAH 5.1 billion, and they grew to UAH 8.4 billion as of early January 2017.
