Rolling blackouts due to the suspension of anthracite supplies from the occupied areas of Donbas could apply to Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy and Cherkasy regions, according to the statement of the government's press service after a meeting of the anti-crisis energy headquarters.

"The headquarters of these regions must analyze crisis situations that might be associated with the restriction of energy supply. First of all, it is necessary to ensure power and heat supply to the population. Also [they have to] consider the work of industrial enterprises operating in the non-stop mode from the point of view of daily schedules of peak loads," Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko said.

As reported, the anti-crisis energy headquarters recommended the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to introduce a state of emergency in the power system of the country.
