Groysman, EBRD President discuss joint efforts to privatize state enterprises in Ukraine

Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti have discussed joint efforts to privatize state-owned enterprises in Ukraine, in particular, Odesa port-side chemical plant.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at a meeting on November 28 the sides discussed and agreed the agenda of further cooperation.

"The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is our financial partner, an extremely important investor in Ukraine. We deeply appreciate the cooperation with you," Groysman said.

The premier thanked the EBRD for practical work associated with thrusting the arch on the Shelter object, as well as for the EBRD activities as an administrator of the Chornobyl Shelter fund and the Nuclear Safety Account.

During the meeting the parties also discussed joint efforts for privatization of state enterprises in Ukraine, in particular, Odesa port-side chemical plant, as well as cooperation in reforming the management of state-owned enterprises.
