Ukraine is interested in developing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of transport.

Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian told about it during a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Satlyk Satlykov.

The sides discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of freight traffic, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry said.

"Transport services occupy a key position in the development of trade and economic relations between our countries. Development of comfortable conditions for transportation contributes to the further development of Ukrainian-Turkmen relations," Omelian said.

The Infrastructure minister of Ukraine also said that today an active work on the development of efficient technical and technological solutions in the organization of transport of goods between Asia and Europe through the territory of Ukraine is carried out. During the meeting the sides also discussed issues of development of relations in the aviation, rail and automotive industries.
