Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee has proposed to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service to set indicative prices of fuel, Authorized Government official of the committee Valeriy Poliukhovych said at the Petroleum Ukraine 2016 conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

"The absence of the fuel market monitoring system at the national level is a bad thing… We have proposed to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry, Economic Development and Trade Ministry and State Fiscal Service to resume the practice of setting indicative prices," he said.

As reported, the expert and analysts group at the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry earlier set indicative prices of fuel several years ago.
