Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved working projects to reconstruct two sections of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway of 34 km long for UAH 1.912 billlion.

According to government resolution No. 757-r dated October 19 on the approval of the working project on reconstruction of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway section 431 km + 407 – 440 km + 480 in Kharkiv region, the project was presented by the State Automobile Road Agency and designed by Kharkivhyproshliakh, a branch of Ukrhyproshliakh state-run enterprise. Ukrderzhbudekspertyza recommended the project for approval.

The total estimated cost of reconstruction in current prices as of March 31, 2016 was UAH 556.484 million, including UAH 449.99 million for construction works, UAH 304,000 for equipment and UAH 106.189 million for other expenses. It will take 17 months to reconstruct the section.

According to government resolution No. 758-r dated October 19, a project to reconstruct section 395 km + -64 – 420 km + 050 of the same highway in Kharkiv region was approved.

The total estimated cost of reconstruction in current prices as of March 31, 2016 was UAH 1.356 billion, including UAH 1.096 billion for construction works, UAH 1.168 million for equipment and UAH 258.605 million for other expenses. It will take 24 months to reconstruct the section.
