Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has provided UAH 32 million for reconstruction of Bortnychi sewage treatment plant.

The decision was made at a government meeting on July 27, the press service of the Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy Ministry has reported.

Some UAH 32.057 million is provided to implement the fifth launch complex of the first phase of the project on reconstruction of Bortnychi sewage treatment plant.

"This would allow us to fulfill our liabilities, attract funds and Japan will start selecting the contractor," Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Hennadiy Zubko said.

Zubko said that this the last provision of funds for the project. The money was taken from the environment fund.
