National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy has announced a tender to buy legal services to present its rights and interests in foreign jurisdictions, including foreign public agencies, institutions, foreign or international courts, arbitration courts and international organizations in relations with other persons and to accompany the company's foreign economic operations.

The company said in a press release that the expected cost of the services is UAH 30 million (around $1.2 million). The services are to be provided before December 31, 2017.

Bids can be submitted before 17:00 on July 18, 2016.

Bidders are to meet qualification requirements. They are to have offices in at least three countries of the European Union (EU, including Britain), in the Middle East, the United States and China.

The key tasks are linked to the provision of the company's interests in settling disputes in courts and other agencies of foreign states, foreign or international arbitration courts. The winner is to draw up procedural documents, settle issues of securing claims and forced execution of decisions.

The winner company is to provide services linked to accompanying Naftogaz in its foreign economic operations and present the company's interests at meeting and negotiations held with representatives of foreign companies, agencies and organizations. The winner will be asked to analyze agreements, contracts, annexes and other documents, provide written and oral consultations, recommendations and consultations on the deals signed by the company with nonresidents under the rules of foreign states and other issues.
