EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski and German Ambassador to Ukraine Christof Weil at a meeting with Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov have called on the minister to remove data on journalists accredited in the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics (DPR, LPR) from the Myrotvorets (Peacemaker) website.

"First, they urged Ukrainian law enforcement authorities to undertake necessary steps to ensure that all personal data of journalists published on the Myrotvorets website is withdrawn and take measures that this content is no longer published," reads a report by the EU delegation to Ukraine.

"Secondly, they demanded the Ukrainian authorities to provide the necessary protection to all journalists who are exposed on this list, in particular since a number of them have already received threats," according to the statement.

"Thirdly, they urged Ukraine's law enforcers to conduct proper investigations," the document reads.
