The European Union (EU) is not considering increasing its quotas on supplies of Ukrainian products, European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström told reporters in Kyiv on November 13.

She said that the EU has increased quotas for supplies of pork, beef and poultry for Ukraine, although the quotas were not used in full as Ukrainian goods do not comply with EU sanitary requirements.

She said that she plans to discuss the issue of improving sanitary standards for Ukrainian food with the Ukrainian agricultural policy and food minister during her visit to Kyiv.
