Naftogaz plans to accumulate over 16 bcm of gas in underground storage facilities by mid-October
National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to accumulate over 16 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas in its underground storage facilities by October 15, Naftogaz Development Director Yuriy Vitrenko said in Kyiv on Thursday.
"We expect to add another 1.2 bcm of gas to underground storage facilities by October 15… We would have 16 bcm and a little more," he said.
As reported, Ukraine only imports gas only from the EU via pipelines in Slovakia.
