State Railways Administration of Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia plans in September to refuse cooperation with Unit company, which developed and manages the online system of rail ticket electronic sales using its software systems.

Chief of the Ukrzaliznytsia computerization department Bohdan Korban told reporters that a number of abuses by the company, trying to get more benefit from ticket sales, problems with the management of the system, in communications with banks were revealed.

He added that materials on the facts of abuse have been submitted to the relevant authorities.

"We will remove all the components of the company from the system and implement a new system. At present, from a technical point of view we are ready," he said.

According to Korban, Unit requires additional funds from banks for acquiring services and as a result illegally earns UAH 10-12 million a year, which Ukrzaliznytsia could use for its needs.
