The required sum for the additional capitalization of state-run banks tentatively amounts to UAH 46.8 billion, according to a survey on 30 state enterprises with large fiscal risks, approved by Economic Development and Trade Ministry order No. 609/565 of June 17, 2015.

The assessed additional capitalization of Oschadbank is worth around UAH 20 billion, Ukreximbank – some UAH 26 billion, and Ukrgasbank – nearly UAH 800 million.

"However, taking into account the fact that the NBU [National Bank of Ukraine] would not insist on the additional capitalization of state banks this year, its amount will be defined, taking into account the requirements of creditors and current liquidity of the banks," reads the document.

It is projected that Oschadbank would see a UAH 450 million profit in 2015, the loss of Ukreximbank would reach UAH 10.4 billion, and Ukrgasbank could see profit of UAH 200 million.

The charter capital of Oschadbank is UAH 29.9 billion, Ukreximbank – UAH 21.7 billion and Ukrgasbank – UAH 13.2 billion.

Oschadbank saw UAH 870 million in profit in Q1 2015, Ukreximbank saw loss of UAH 4.5 billion, and Ukrgasbank posted loss of UAH 400 million.
