Ukraine close to agreements with IMF mission – Jaresko

Negotiations between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission with the Ukrainian authorities are close to a positive result, and only one issue has not yet been agreed, Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko has said.

"We're in the program and we've done almost everything according to our liabilities. Only one decision has been left," she told reporters on the sidelines of the 8th Kyiv Security Forum on Friday.

Jaresko added that Ukraine has failed to pass several laws as scheduled, although a postponement of several weeks is not a problem for the program, and the documents are to be passed in June.

She said that the final results of the negotiations will be announced at a press conference to cover the results of the IMF mission, which will be held soon.

As reported, the IMF mission arrived in Kyiv on May 12.
