UIA to launch Odesa-Larnaca flights from June 21

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) from June 21, 2015 will start servicing direct flights on the Odesa-Larnaca (Cyprus) route.

The press service of Odesa airport reported that the weekly flight will operate on Sundays at 21:10 and from Larnaca international airport on Mondays at 00:35 local time. It will take two hours and 30 minutes to reach the destination. Boeing-737 plane will service the flight.

The flight program will last until the end of summer.

The airport also said that in June UIA will launch direct flights from Odesa to Baku, Vilnius, Yerevan, Lviv and Kharkiv.

The main buildings of Odesa airport were built in 1960-1961. A cargo terminal was built in 1982.

Odesa airport services the flights of about 20 domestic and foreign airlines to 60 countries.

UIA was founded in 1992. It is the largest Ukrainian airline. Its hub airport is Boryspil (Kyiv). The UIA fleet consists of 31 aircraft, including 27 medium-haul and four long-haul airplanes.
